Cetraben Lotion is designed to help you treat dry skin, dermatitis, and eczema. The active ingredients light liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin, and glycerol. They all work to clear the skin and reduce the urge to itch. Its light and cosmetically acceptable feel makes it ideal for use on the face, hands and hirsute skin. Cetraben Lotion can be used where patient compliance is a challenge. It contains:

• Light liquid paraffin replaces lost skin oils to increase skin surface lipids (SSL).
• White soft paraffin forms a protective barrier on skin surface and decreases transepidermal water loss TEWL.
• Glycerin (humectant) attracts and holds water in the outer layers of the skin and to compensate for reduced levels of natural moisturising factor (NMF) in diseased and older skin.
