Anthisan Bite and Sting Cream contains the active ingredient mepyramine maleate, which is an antihistamine that helps to reduce pain, itching, and inflammation caused by insect stings, bites, and nettle rash.  It works by blocking the effects of histamine, a natural substance that your body produces in response to an allergic reaction. Anthisan Bite and Sting Cream is suitable for adults and children over the age of 2 years. Before using Anthisan Bite and Sting Cream, clean the affected area and apply a small amount of cream to the affected skin.  Gently rub the cream into the skin until it is fully absorbed. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream.  You can apply the cream up to three times a day, but do not use it for more than three days without consulting a doctor.  If your symptoms persist or worsen after three days, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
