Acriflex is a cream which contains chlorhexidine gluconate, an antibacterial agent. It can be used to treat minor burns and scalds, abrasions, scratches, sunburn blisters or infected cracked skin. It has been clinically demonstrated that Acriflex cooling burns gel can: Soothe by quickly cooling the skin tissues to relieve discomfort; lessen the redness of inflamed skin; hydrate the skin's surface layers to support the skin's natural repair system; and physically kill bacteria without drying the skin.
